Hi, I’m Grace Galletti — a trauma-informed visual storyteller for documentaries, interviews, and events.

I’m a Director of Photography and Camera Operator specializing in intimate vérité documentary work with a focus on mental health and emotional storytelling. I also film interviews, performances and events both as static wide shots and moving coverage.

After graduating from UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism with a focus on documentary cinematography, I worked as an Associate Producer and Associate Editor at Citizen Film where I helped produce, shoot and edit social media shorts, event recaps, fundraising campaigns, and documentaries. My experience as an editor has shaped my eye for story and helps me prioritize coverage that works for the edit.

I’m currently based in Brooklyn and I have a Sony FX6 with a 24-104mm lens, an Aputure C300d light and more for interviews. I also have experience with Canon C200 and C300s.
